Gingerdead and Cursed Cookies

GingerDEAD Men and Cursed Cookies

GingerDEAD Men
I took off a couple of vacation days from work this week and spent most of it baking and decorating sugar cookies. I made a lot of sugar cookies and royal icing for this set of posts (see previous and two following posts). My hubby knows I love cookie cutters so he bought me these cutters last Christmas, but this is the first time I used them. Both cutters are by Fred: GingerDEAD Men The Spooky, Kooky, Cookie Cutter and Cursed Cookies The Voodoo Doll Cookie Cutter and they are fitting cookies for Halloween time.

Cursed Cookies - putting a hex on you! :)
When you work with these cutters make sure the dough is chilled for at least 1-2 hours. Sprinkle flour on your work surface, rolling pin and dip the cutters in flour. Each cutter has two sides, one for the imprint and the other side is cutter. Do the imprint side first and then cut the dough. It is very easy. Press down hard when you do the imprint.

Enjoy! Happy Halloween/Samhain!
