El Yucateco Green Habanero Hot Sauce

9000 on the Scoville scale, El Yucateco Green Habanero Hot Sauce (4 oz.) has a great kick. Not for the heat whimps (like my wife, hee hee) as this sauce is really hot. I first saw El Yucateco on Facebook doing some blog research. I was unable to find it locally yet as I searched and one day I saw it for sale at the Bronx Milk Plant grocery. I picked it up immediately and have used it on a lot of Mexican foods and some Dominican food also.

High in heat this is recommended but too hot for most if you do not like spicy green heat. The first thing I noticed before the heat kicked in was the green freshness of the Green Habanero they use. This fresh taste was the first time I had a green hot sauce or even salsa for that matter that tasted so fresh. It was like they had just made it today when I opened the sealed bottle. I made some awesome Green Habanero Wings (see photo) with this and they were good.

I am looking forward to cooking with more El Yucateco Products as well. They have many sauces and some other condiments also. Splash it on (in moderation) chicken, burritos and egg dishes also. I had some on my poached eggs one morning. I really am into the heat from this sauce. El Yucateco Green Habanero is very good and will heat up your kitchen.
