Tom's Roid-Rippin' Hot Sauce
I was happy to see Tom Slosser from Tom's Roid-Rippin' Hot
Sauce again as we first met him at the NYC Hot Sauce Expo last year. The all
natural, no preservatives sauces available are: Cayenne & Curry, Crimson
Reaper, JalapeƱo Pepper Sauce, Tapestry, "Ouch My Roids" Habanero Sauce,
Scorpion's Shadow, Sweet Mesquite BBQ Sauce and Hot Cherry Pepper & Roasted
Garlic. The variety of sauces appeal to all heat level Chile-heads.

Gemini Crow
It was awesome meeting Dov from Gemini Crow, a local NJ company and
taste some of his great sauces. I see big things happening with these sauces in
the near future. I met Dov via my friend NJ’s own, Doug Spiros from Peppers and
More.

Lucky Dog Hot Sauce
We first covered Lucky Dog almost a year ago on Two Frys. It
was awesome meeting Scott in person as his sauces come from my old stomping
grounds, the East SF Bay area.

I was looking forward to speaking to Scott about his sauces in person, but boy was he swamped. His booth was action packed and Scott can sling sauces real fast. I was impressed with his interaction with the crowds, and glad he came to NYC. Lucky Dog produce great sauces ranging from mild to hot.

Volcanic Peppers
Volcanic Peppers were at the expo again this year with their
line of hot sauces, spices, rubs and more. They make great sauces and had a really cool
selection as last year. Volcanic Peppers were one of the presenters and
sponsors of the spicy pizza eating contest. This was an amazing event, and the
pies had around 10 different hot peppers on them.

Mr. Saucy
Here is a local, NYC company featuring sauces with some real
in depth flavors. I was impressed with the sauces I tasted, and plan to cover
them on the blog in the near future. Sure, I love heat, but I have a passion
for flavorful hot sauces that do not have a kill ya novelty, as some hot sauces
have. After all, I want to cook and use hot sauce as a condiment, and Mr. Saucy
have sauces that all folks will like. My first experience was all about the flavor
and that is a good thing.
